Rochester, N.Y. — The Volunteers of America dedicated a new room at its family shelter, which will provide shelter to families in need.

The Bank of America "Guest Room" recognizes the financial institution's long-time support of the VOA, according to the organization.

“This room will serve more than 20 families in the coming year—providing them with safe temporary shelter and the support they need to get through their housing crisis and reestablished in permanent housing,” said Lynn Sullivan, president and CEO of VOA. “We appreciate the generous support of Bank of America, and through this partnership we will be able to make a huge difference in the lives of those in need in our community.”

Located in Rochester, VOA’s Guest House provides safe housing, nutritious meals, clothing, case management and support services to help families get back on their feet.
