Strike Out Poverty

Join VOA and the Rochester Red Wings as we #StrikeOutPoverty!

Every time a Rochester Red Wings pitcher strikes out an opposing hitter during the regular baseball season, a donation is made to Volunteers of America.

All funds raised through our Strike Out Poverty campaign directly supports VOA’s life-saving services, including our emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness, supportive housing for senior and veterans, early childhood educational programs at the VOA Children’s Center, residential reentry programs for men and women exiting incarceration, and essential support services for those with mental and behavioral health concerns.
