Children’s Center at VOA

Safe and reliable full-time child care means peace of mind for working parents in Rochester.

Since 1987, the Volunteers of America (VOA) Children’s Center has been providing full-time child care and educational programs focused on early childhood development and school readiness through play-based learning for children 6 weeks through 4 years old, plus summer and after school programs for up to 12 years old.

Our nationally accredited day care center proudly serves more than 150 children daily with early childhood programming and a warm and welcoming community of staff, children and families. We also provide additional support services such as a full-time Registered Nurse, on-site dental care (in partnership with Anthony Jordan Health), family development services, on-going parent training, full-day care, and disability supports.

We are located at 214 Lake Avenue. Rochester, NY 14608
The center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Looking for an exciting and educational summer program for your child? Enroll them in the VOA Children’s Center full-day summer program for kids aged 5-12! Our program offers safe, reliable and high-quality summer experience with a mix of fun activities and learning opportunities.

VOA Children’s Center full-day summer program includes:
– Safe and engaging environment
– Enrichment activities and field trips
– Nutritious meals and snacks provided
– Large indoor and outdoor play area
– Experienced and caring staff

Price: $300 per week
(DSS subsidy and private pay accepted.)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
